Carbon Zero,a Renewable Energy Innovation Challenge! [Deadline: 30 April' 2017]

Here comes an opportunity for your students to trigger their innovation by participating in the Carbon Zero Challenge.

Carbon Zero Challenge, what is it 

The Challenge is to, develop a Zero Carbon Energy System for any of the five thematic areas using a combination

of one or more renewable energy sources.

• Agriculture
• Urban Housing
• Transportation
• Industrial Processes
• Water and Wastewater Treatment

This competition is a jointly presented by IIT Madras, US Consulate General - Chennai and IWMA

Important Dates for the Competition:

March 9: Online registration opens.
April 30: Deadline for submission of entries
June 5: Announcement of top teams and mentors. 6-month mentorship phase begins

This competition is opened for colleges in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Andaman and Nicobar only.
