Carbon Zero Challenge, what is it
The Challenge is to, develop a Zero Carbon Energy System for any of the five thematic areas using a combination
of one or more renewable energy sources.
- Agriculture
- Urban Housing
- Transportation
- Industrial Processes
- Water and Wastewater Treatment
This competition is a jointly presented by IIT Madras, US Consulate General - Chennai and IWMA
Important Dates for the Competition:
March 9: Online registration opens.
April 30: Deadline for submission of entries
June 5: Announcement of top teams and mentors. 6-month mentorship phase begins
This competition is opened for colleges in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Andaman and Nicobar only.
